We are a Wife and Husband team, initially set up by Claire in 2014, due to her lifelong passion for animals, with Ian now assisting during busier periods.

At Peak Pet Services, our love for cats and passion for pet sitting inspired us to create a service dedicated to providing peace of mind for cat and small animal owners. We understand the importance of keeping your feline friends happy and comfortable at home while you're away.

Pets are part of our family, and we completely understand how difficult it is to leave them for work, or when going on holiday. We are ardent animal lovers, and their happiness is extremely important to us, both personally and professionally.

We have a vast amount of experience working with all animals, and as we live on a smallholding, have a menagerie of our own:
Our Bedlington Terriers Grace and Summer, our lovely moggy Alfie, our two Maine Coons Haggis and Violet, our rescue Ragdoll Geoff, our Shire Horse Charlie and a number of chickens. We have also previously owned rabbits, tortoises, a corn snake, ducks, a Tamworth pig, alpacas and sheep.

We both have a particular affinty with cats, and are used to a number of different cat personalities.

We understand that some cats are shy, nervous and require a quiet and calm approach, whilst others are extremely confident.

We are apt at reading cats and their body language, using various techniques to establish a trusting bond.

Your pets will receive the best care we can provide here at Peak Pet Services, and please be assured that they will be treated as part of our family.

We used to provide a doggy daycare service, and are still licenced for this, but are no longer offering this service to new clients.
